Senior BIM Lead

Job Summary:

WiiGroup is seeking to hire three BIM Leads to join our growing Cairo team, including two Architectural BIM Leads and one MEP BIM Lead, supporting major projects across the Middle East and internationally.

The BIM Leads will be responsible for leading discipline-specific BIM delivery, overseeing model production, quality assurance, coordination, and technical excellence within their respective disciplines. Working closely with BIM Managers, project teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders, the BIM Leads will ensure BIM deliverables are produced in accordance with project requirements, BIM standards, and digital delivery objectives.

This role is ideal for experienced BIM professionals with strong technical expertise in either Architecture or MEP disciplines who are passionate about mentoring teams, driving BIM best practices, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Leadership & Discipline Delivery

• Lead BIM delivery activities within your discipline (Architecture or MEP) across multiple projects.

• Manage and mentor BIM Coordinators, BIM Modellers, and project delivery teams.

• Ensure BIM deliverables are completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed project timelines.

• Support BIM Managers in implementing project BIM strategies, standards, workflows, and delivery requirements.

• Drive consistency in modelling methodologies, documentation standards, and digital delivery practices.

• Review discipline-specific deliverables before project submissions.

2. Model Development & Coordination

• Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality BIM models within your discipline.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration between Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Infrastructure models.

• Support clash detection activities and assist in the resolution of design and coordination issues.

• Review model data, parameters, family standards, and content libraries to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Participate in coordination workshops, model reviews, and technical BIM meetings.

3. Quality Assurance & BIM Standards

• Conduct model audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with company and project BIM standards.

• Monitor model health, file management practices, and information accuracy.

• Ensure project deliverables are aligned with ISO 19650 principles, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and client requirements.

• Oversee BIM deliverables through design, detailed design, construction documentation, and as-built stages where applicable.

• Promote BIM best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement within project teams.

4. Digital Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support the implementation of digital delivery initiatives and BIM workflows across projects.

• Collaborate with design teams, project managers, consultants, and external stakeholders.

• Prepare BIM reports, model review findings, and discipline-specific progress updates.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of BIM standards, templates, and workflows.

• Support the adoption of Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and other digital collaboration platforms.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 7+ years of BIM experience, including experience in a BIM Lead, Senior BIM Coordinator, or equivalent leadership role.

• We are hiring for:

  • 2 x Architectural BIM Leads

  • 1 x MEP BIM Lead

• Proven experience leading BIM teams on complex building projects.

• Strong technical background in either Architecture or MEP Engineering.

• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, aviation, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of BIM standards, information management principles, and ISO 19650 workflows.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and related BIM technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in model development, quality control, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Experience managing BIM deliverables across all project stages.

• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working on GCC, Middle Eastern, or international projects is highly desirable.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Priority Candidate Profile

• Architectural BIM Leads with extensive experience delivering large-scale building projects and leading architectural BIM teams.

• MEP BIM Leads with strong building services coordination and multidisciplinary project experience.

• Candidates with experience supporting GCC and international projects from Egypt-based delivery centres.

• Professionals with strong knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, and digital delivery best practices.

• Individuals with a passion for mentoring teams, improving BIM standards, and driving technical excellence.
