Job Summary

At WiiGroup, we integrate advanced planning methodologies with real-time project controls to deliver world-class hyperscale data centre projects. We are seeking expressions of interest from ambitious and talented MEP Planning Engineers (Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Lead levels)to support major projects across Amsterdam. These roles will play a critical part in developing, maintaining, and integrating complex mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) programmes across multiple project levels, from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover. You will work collaboratively with project teams, contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure effective schedule integration, programme alignment, and successful project delivery within highly complex and fast-paced environments.

Whether you are developing your planning career or already leading programme delivery, you bring a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple interfaces across multidisciplinary teams. You understand the importance of integrating MEP activities into overall project schedules and enjoy working in collaborative environments where innovation, technology, and data-driven decision-making are valued. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and are motivated by delivering high-profile, mission-critical projects.

Experience Required

• 1-10+ years' experience in construction planning, project controls, engineering, or programme management, depending on level

• Experience working on MEP, data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or major infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of construction sequencing and programme development across mechanical, electrical, public health, commissioning, and handover activities

• Experience using planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent

• Ability to develop, manage, and maintain integrated programmes across multiple project phases

• Understanding of schedule integration, critical path analysis, resource planning, and programme reporting

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and site teams

• Experience supporting or leading planning meetings, progress reviews, and programme updates

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments

• Senior-level candidates should demonstrate experience leading planning functions, mentoring junior planners, and managing stakeholder relationships across large-scale projects

Desirable

• Experience delivering hyperscale, mission-critical, or data centre projects

• Familiarity with BIM, 4D scheduling, Digital Project Controls, and Integrated Project Delivery methodologies

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline

• Knowledge of commissioning planning and systems integration processes

• Experience producing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar reporting platforms

• Experience working on fast-track projects across Europe

• Strong digital mindset with an interest in process improvement and construction innovation
