BIM Coordinator

Job Summary:

WiiGroup is seeking to hire BIM Specialists to join our growing Cairo team, supporting major projects across the Middle East and internationally.

The BIM Specialists will be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of high-quality BIM models and project information across Architecture, Structural, MEP, and Infrastructure disciplines. Working closely with BIM Leads, BIM Managers, and multidisciplinary project teams, the BIM Specialists will support project delivery through accurate modelling, clash detection, BIM documentation, information management, and digital delivery workflows while ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.

This role is ideal for technically strong BIM professionals with experience in Architecture, Structure, or MEP disciplines who are passionate about digital construction, BIM technology, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Modelling & Project Delivery

• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements, BIM standards, and client specifications.

• Support BIM Leads and project teams in the delivery of coordinated BIM outputs across all project phases.

• Produce discipline-specific BIM models, drawings, schedules, and project deliverables.

• Ensure BIM deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed project timelines.

• Support the implementation of project BIM workflows, standards, and digital delivery requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.

2. Model Coordination & Information Management

• Participate in multidisciplinary model coordination activities and federated model reviews.

• Assist with clash detection processes and support the resolution of design and coordination issues.

• Coordinate model updates and revisions in accordance with project requirements.

• Support BIM submissions, information exchanges, technical reviews, and project documentation processes.

• Work within Common Data Environments (CDE) including Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Aconex, or similar platforms.

• Ensure project information is maintained in accordance with BIM standards and information management requirements.

3. BIM Quality Assurance & Standards

• Perform quality checks on BIM models and project deliverables.

• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, project requirements, and modelling best practices.

• Assist with model audits, data validation, and information quality reviews.

• Support project deliverables through design development, technical design, construction documentation, and as-built stages where applicable.

• Maintain consistency in model structure, naming conventions, parameters, and BIM content.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes, standards, and workflows.

4. Collaboration & Digital Delivery

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.

• Collaborate with BIM Leads, project managers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Support digital delivery initiatives and project technology adoption.

• Assist with the preparation of BIM reports, model reviews, and coordination documentation.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM templates, families, libraries, and project standards.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of BIM experience within Architecture, Structural, MEP, or Infrastructure disciplines.

• Strong experience developing BIM models on building or infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in Revit and experience working within BIM project environments.

• Familiarity with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or equivalent BIM platforms.

• Understanding of BIM standards, information management principles, and project delivery workflows.

• Experience participating in multidisciplinary model coordination activities.

• Strong technical detailing and modelling skills within your core discipline.

• Knowledge of BIM documentation, schedules, and project deliverables.

• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Priority Candidate Profile

• BIM Specialists from Architectural, Structural, or MEP backgrounds with strong Revit modelling capabilities.

• Candidates with experience supporting GCC and international projects from Egypt-based delivery centres.

• Professionals with practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks, and related BIM technologies.

• Individuals with a strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality BIM deliverables.

• Candidates who demonstrate a proactive approach to learning, collaboration, and digital innovation.
